Final Fantasy XIV patch 7.5 is live with new MSQ, dungeon, trial, and alliance raid finale
Final Fantasy XIV has rolled out patch 7.5, Trail to the Heavens, bringing in the first half of the update’s new content. According to the official post, players can jump into the next stretch of the main scenario, a new dungeon, a new trial, and the conclusion of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid series.
It’s a pretty standard major FFXIV patch setup, with story progress up front and a mix of endgame additions around it. Patch 7.5 also includes balance changes, more gear upgrade options, and the usual batch of new items like minions and equipment.
Square Enix is splitting this update into multiple parts, so this isn’t the full 7.5 package yet. What’s live now is the first wave, while more content is still planned ahead of the game’s next Fan Festival cycle.
If you want the full breakdown beyond the headline additions, the patch notes cover the smaller system tweaks and reward changes in detail. While we’re all excited for Evercold, there’s still some content updates to look forward to in the remaining 7.0 (Dawntrail) expansion.
