Fellowship’s Halloween Reset Adds Adventure Mode, Loot Changes, and Multi-Hero Queueing
Fellowship’s Halloween Reset is live with update 0.5.0.0, and it’s a bigger reset than usual. Player progress has been wiped so everyone starts fresh, while Chief Rebel tests several major systems on the road to the game’s 1.0 release.
The studio is framing this reset more like a live alpha or public test than a standard season. The main changes include a new casual progression path, a reworked Eternal mode, multi-hero matchmaking, and a broad loot and economy pass.
- Adventure Mode replaces the old League system with a less structured path aimed at new players, returning players, alt leveling, and anyone who doesn’t want to push difficulty nonstop.
- Eternal now unlocks at an average item level of 240, though the team recommends 270 or higher before seriously attempting it. The mode now has 32 fixed difficulty levels.
- Multi-hero queueing is available in both Adventure and Eternal. Players can choose which heroes and difficulty levels they want to queue for, with the first available match taking priority.
- Loot 2.1 changes item slots, removes set bonuses, moves old relic active abilities into Charms, and adjusts rarity so higher-quality drops come more reliably as players progress.
- The economy has been trimmed down, with Rare and Epic crafting material versions removed, Supplies gone, and Marks of Fellowship now used only for crafting material exchanges.
- A new dungeon, Crown of the Wild, is being tested. It’s set in a treetop village with rope bridges, platforms, and a new druidic enemy faction.
The reset also brings Halloween back to the Stronghold. Players can earn event currencies through seasonal challenges, then spend them on hero skins and titles from a spectral vendor. Older Haunting cosmetics are returning through the store, along with a few new spooky pets.
There are plenty of hero balance changes too, mostly cooldown reductions, range increases, scaling tweaks, and fixes across characters like Mara, Meiko, Xavian, Helena, Rime, Aeona, and others. The team says larger reworks are still on the table for future updates.
Chief Rebel says it’ll be watching feedback over the next few weeks, with some fixes planned live and others likely coming in the winter update as Fellowship moves closer to 1.0.
