EverQuest’s Hardcore Heritage Event Retunes Classic Zones Through July 7

EverQuest’s Hardcore Heritage event is live, giving high-level players a reason to head back into older zones that have been retuned for tougher fights and better-scaled rewards. The event runs through July 7, with different zones rotating in over two phases.

City of Mist is available for the full event and is tuned for level 125 characters. According to the announcement, the current phase runs through June 16 and includes Blackburrow and Cazic Thule at level 80, plus The Ruins of Old Guk and the Estate of Unrest for level 85 and up.

The second phase starts June 17 and runs through July 7. That round brings in Crushbone and Permafrost for level 90 players, The Castle of Mistmoore and Nagafen’s Lair for level 100, and Ruins of Sebilis for level 105.

As usual with EverQuest events like this, access depends on whether those zones have been unlocked on your server. If they are, Hardcore Heritage is basically a higher-level remix of familiar hunting grounds, aimed at players who want to revisit old spots without steamrolling them in a few pulls.
