EVE Online’s Gallente Election event runs through April 16

EVE Online players still have a few weeks to take part in the Gallente Election event, which CCP says will run through Thursday, April 16. The in-game event ties faction politics to player activities and rewards, giving pilots a way to back one of the candidates while picking up event loot along the way.

CCP’s latest video mostly recaps what was already laid out in the official post. It goes over the candidates, the activities tied to the event, and the rewards players can earn for participating. It also includes a snapshot of the current polling, with Lucas Tenzin in the lead at the time of the video.

This is one of EVE’s recurring lore-heavy live events, but the practical part for most players is simple enough: choose a side, run the related content, and collect the rewards before the event ends. The source doesn’t add much beyond the earlier announcement, so if you’ve already been following the election, the main takeaway here is that CCP is continuing to spotlight it and show where the vote currently stands.

The Gallente Election event started earlier this month and is available now. If you want the event rewards, you’ve got until April 16 to finish it.
