Enshrouded targets fall 2026 for its 1.0 launch, with consoles planned
Keen Games says Enshrouded is aiming for a full 1.0 release in fall 2026. The studio shared the window around the game’s second anniversary in Early Access, alongside an updated “Road to Release” overview of what it wants to ship with the launch build.
Along with the timing, Keen Games said Enshrouded has now reached five million players since its Early Access debut. The studio also posted some community-wide stats, including six million pets tamed and “over 20 thousand years” of combined playtime.

For 1.0, the biggest confirmed addition is console availability, though specific platforms weren’t named in the announcement. Keen also highlighted more locations to explore, changes to its Adventure Sharing feature, a revamped new player experience, and combat improvements including a greatsword rework. The team also called out optimization work, with a specific focus on shader load times across a wide range of hardware.
Before that, Keen is planning a smaller 0.8 update in spring. It’s described mostly as a polishing patch, but it will also introduce Adventure Sharing that lets players share their mission creations with others in-game.
Keen didn’t lock in a specific 1.0 date, saying it wants to avoid repeating a past situation where it missed a more precise target date for a previous update. After 1.0, the studio expects to continue supporting the game with free updates, alongside larger paid expansions.
