Elder Scrolls Online Season One Starts July 8 With Thieves Guild and Sheogorath Content
The Elder Scrolls Online’s first full season now has a date. Season One launches July 8, following a new preview shown during the Xbox Games Showcase, with the Thieves Guild taking a central role in the next round of content.
According to the official post, the season will include a new Thieves Guild storyline that ties into the upcoming High Seas in-game event. Update 50 is also rolling out on all platforms, continuing the shift into ESO’s new seasonal structure.
Sheogorath is part of the season too. The previously tested quest “Sheogorath Takes a Holiday” is coming with the rollout, sending players into one of the Daedric Prince’s more ridiculous obsessions: collecting cheese. Because of course it does.
ZeniMax says Season One will also bring new challenges, refreshed events, and rewards, with more details planned in the weeks before launch. For now, players still wrapping up Season Zero activities, including Night Market, have a few weeks left before the next season begins.
The Elder Scrolls Online has also recently been added to Xbox PC Game Pass as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere library, giving subscribers another way to play on PC and across supported Xbox devices.
