Duet Night Abyss Adds Ada and Summer Events in Paradise Prelude Update
Pan Studio has released the Paradise Prelude update for Duet Night Abyss, adding the new Hydro character Ada, limited-time summer cosmetics, event activities, and progression changes. The update is live now for the free-to-play action RPG on Steam, Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android.
Ada, billed as the Dreamweaver of Paradise, is a High Priestess tied to two sets of memories: one from her hometown of Arcano and another from a fantasy paradise. In combat, that shows up through Summon and Copy abilities. Players can get Ada through the limited-time Immersive Theatre reward pool, which also includes weapons such as the dual pistol The Best Day.
Paradise Prelude also brings a batch of summer outfits. Ada’s Snowlight Chase outfit is tied to the Nocturne in Whitel event, while Fushu’s Tidal Repose swimsuit is available for a limited time. Hilda and Camilla are set to receive Nightfall Enchantress outfits on August 18 through the Crimson Mirage event. There’s also a Blade-run Knight skin for the Bi’an mount.
The update adds several limited-time activities, including new story quests in Bloomfield Station: Tales Untold, the Great Chaos of Mechapuppets challenge, and Golden Journey: Geniemon Derby. Players who log in during the White Bunnies’ Invitation event can claim 10 Prismatic Hourglasses until September 7.
- Calamity Weapon and Abyssal Compass requirements have been lowered so players can earn resources faster.
- Abyssal Defence now supports more efficient dungeon farming.
- Ensemble Act has higher minimum rewards.
- Commission Routes have been streamlined for daily play.
It’s a fairly broad update: a new character chase, some seasonal cosmetics, a few side activities, and a pass at the daily grind. Paradise Prelude is available now across PC and mobile.
