Diablo 4 Players Are Getting Apology Mail With a Free Resplendent Spark
Blizzard is sending some Diablo IV players in-game apology mail after Season 15’s rough launch, and for many, the message includes a free Resplendent Spark.
The mail is showing up through the new Horadric Post mailbox in major towns. The note apologizes for the unexpected issues around Season 15: Season of Hell’s Legacy, which launched with a multi-hour delay, early Solo Self-Found mode problems, Tree of Whispers cache turn-in bugs, and unstable servers.
The Resplendent Spark is the big draw here. It’s one of Diablo IV’s rare crafting materials used toward Mythic Unique, previously called Uber Unique, crafting. So even as an apology item, it’s a meaningful drop for players chasing endgame gear.
Distribution doesn’t seem fully consistent yet. Some players are reporting the apology letter and Spark together, while others say they only received the letter. Some haven’t seen anything until restarting the client. At the time of the reports, Blizzard hadn’t posted a clear public explanation of who qualifies or whether the rollout is happening in waves.
Separately, Blizzard is also handing out bonus Gift of the Tree and Tree of Whispers caches for a limited time as compensation for the Season 15 delay. If the Horadric Post mail hasn’t appeared yet, players may want to restart Diablo IV and check again over the next few days.
