DC Universe Online Runs Shadows Over Argo Finale Before Wrath of the Worldkillers

Posted on by

DC Universe Online is wrapping up its Shadows Over Argo chapter with a short finale event running from September 29 through October 5, 2026. The event sends players back to Sunken Argo City for daily challenges, bonus currency, and a small account-wide reward package before the next Children of Krypton update arrives.

Players need to complete one eligible Shadows Over Argo challenge on five separate days to finish the event. Eligible activities include Sunken Argo City missions and the chapter’s featured On Duty content. Finishing the event awards 40 Sunstone Fragments, delivered in a supply box to the claiming character, plus one Destiny Token. The rewards can only be claimed once per account.

There’s also a buyout option for anyone who misses progress. It uses Marketplace Currency, scales based on how many days are left unfinished, and stays available from September 29 through December 29. Members get 10% off, and each completed daily challenge lowers the remaining cost.

During the same September 29 to October 5 window, Shadows Over Argo Journal missions and On Duty missions will drop double Sunstone Fragments. Shadows Over Argo On Duty missions will also drop double Krypton Science Guild Commendations, and Episode Currency is discounted by 20% during the event.

The next chapter, Children of Krypton: Wrath of the Worldkillers, launches October 6 as a free update. Daybreak says the story will bring Supergirl back into focus alongside Reign, with Titans Bay sealed off by a mysterious forcefield and the Worldkillers at the center of the threat.

DC Universe Online will also have a presence at New York Comic Con from October 8 to 11 at the DC booth. Attendees can pick up posters featuring art by DC artist Belén Ortega, with a code inside for a free Kryptonian in-game reward. A meet and greet with Community Manager Voltera and Art Director Scot Boyd is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, from 11:00 a.m. to noon.
