Crema teases Temtem: Project Downbelow, a new Temtem game headed to Kickstarter

Crema has announced another game set in the Temtem universe, this time called Temtem: Project Downbelow. The studio hasn’t said much yet, but it has confirmed a Kickstarter campaign is on the way.

Right now, the reveal is mostly a name, a piece of key art, and a short pitch. Crema describes it as a new action-adventure RPG in the Temtem world with creature collecting and co-op play. According to the Kickstarter campaign page, more details are coming when the campaign goes live.

That leaves a lot unanswered. Crema’s announcement doesn’t get into platforms, release timing, or how the game actually plays beyond those broad genre tags. The teaser image hints at a new area, with a tree stump in the foreground, buildings in the distance, and what looks like a volcano off to the side.

The “Downbelow” name is also doing a lot of the work for now. In its social post announcing the project, Crema asked players if they’ll “answer the call of the Downbelow,” but didn’t explain what that means. So for the moment, any guesses about crafting, exploration, or survival-style systems are still just guesses.

The announcement comes as Crema is wrapping up work on Temtem: Swarm, which the studio says is heading to its 1.0 launch early next month. With Project Downbelow now public, it looks like Crema is sticking with the Temtem setting for its next release too.
