Corepunk gets a small early access patch while the big wipe remains unscheduled
Corepunk has picked up a smaller early access patch, but the big wipe the team previously discussed still doesn’t have a date. For now, this update is mostly a cleanup pass with some map restrictions, class and item tweaks, battle pass XP compensation, and bug fixes.
According to the patch notes, several map changes are aimed at blocking access to areas players aren’t supposed to reach yet. The Depot and warehouse zones have been enclosed with fog of war and a damage zone, and mob camp placement has also been adjusted. The game’s stylized map has been updated to reflect those broader map changes too, though that part won’t show up until the next major update.
There are also balance changes in the patch. Two Defender passives were adjusted, and two items tied to the vampirism effect were changed as well. On top of that, the developers say they’ve compensated players who didn’t receive the correct amount of battle pass XP.
The rest of the patch is a standard round of bug fixes. It’s not a huge update, but if you’re still playing Corepunk in early access, it’s the latest sign the team is making smaller adjustments while the larger reset is still pending.
