Conan Exiles R15 update adds character transfers and sets up console server merges

Funcom has released the R15 update for Conan Exiles, and the big change is character transfers. Players can now move a character between servers while keeping their level, progression, items, hotbars, followers, and follower inventories intact.

According to the official post, R15 is part of a backend overhaul focused on server management. Funcom also said select console servers will be merged in May, with advance notice before any closures and time for players to move on their own first.

Character transfers appear to be limited to one character at a time. If you’re on console and worried about getting caught in a server merge later, the update gives you a way to relocate now instead of waiting for a forced move.

Funcom didn’t share its broader Conan Exiles plans yet, but it did say more news is coming soon. For now, this update looks mostly aimed at the game’s infrastructure rather than adding a big batch of new gameplay content.

More detailed platform-specific changes are listed in the patch notes.
