CCP outlines EVE Fanfest 2026 side events ahead of Reykjavik return in May

CCP Games has shared the slate of side activities planned around EVE Fanfest 2026, which runs May 14 to May 16 in Reykjavik, Iceland. The main event is set to return to the Harpa Concert and Conference Centre, with the usual mix of panels, announcements, tournaments, and community meetups.

For anyone arriving early or looking to fill time outside the convention schedule, CCP’s list includes several off-site events in the days leading up to Fanfest. According to the official post, plans include a LAN party and a pub quiz on Wednesday, May 13, plus tours and excursions that start even earlier in the week.

A lot of the extras lean into sightseeing. CCP is bringing back the Sisters of EVE Golden Circle Tour on Friday, May 15, and there’s also a glacier trip that includes time with EVE developers. On the food and drink side, RVK Brewery is set to run tours as far back as May 9 as the event ramps up.

And yes, the pub crawl is back. CCP says it’ll once again send Fanfest attendees hopping between Reykjavik bars, finishing with a party at Gamla Bíó in downtown Reykjavik.

While the activities list is mostly about what to do in Iceland, Fanfest is still where a lot of EVE Online’s next steps get talked about in public. CCP has already teased parts of its 2026 roadmap, including plans for two expansions this year tied to its “Theaters of War” theme, plus a delay for EVE Vanguard’s Steam early access.
