Blizzard buffs WoW’s Prey progress, and a free Burning Crusade Classic mount is up for grabs
Blizzard has made it easier to move through World of Warcraft’s Prey system this week, increasing the amount of Journey progress players get from hunts. The biggest boost is aimed at the first four Prey hunts each week, which should make it less of a slog to reach Journey Rank 4.
That matters because Rank 4 unlocks Astalor Bloodsworn’s final story quests, which in turn open Nightmare Mode. Blizzard said the changes went live in response to player feedback about how hard it was to get there. Details are in the official post.
There’s also a separate bonus for players bouncing between modern WoW and Classic. If you complete the Midnight intro scenario, you can claim a Voidfeather Dragonhawk flying mount for WoW Classic Anniversary’s Burning Crusade servers.
That offer is only available until May 15. It’s a limited-time reward, and for Burning Crusade Classic players, it’s a pretty practical one since it skips the usual gold cost tied to getting a flying mount.
