Black Desert tweaks War of the Roses as 10th anniversary events continue

Black Desert Online’s latest update makes another round of changes to War of the Roses, the game’s large-scale PvP mode, while also adding a few smaller quality-of-life features and keeping its 10th anniversary event schedule rolling.

The biggest change is aimed at guilds that can’t always field a full 100-player roster. Pearl Abyss now lets the leading guild recruit third legion members to fill empty slots, as long as that third legion has a pool of more than 400 players. Affiliated guilds are also now shown in the platoon menu, which should make it easier to check who’s available and what kind of experience they bring.

War of the Roses is also getting a tighter map layout. The number of Sanctums has been cut from 10 to 7, with positions shifted toward the middle and lower sections of the battlefield. In practice, that should pull fights away from the outer edges and put more focus on central objectives and coordination, instead of spreading groups thin across distant points.

Outside PvP, the update adds a couple of practical interface changes. The new “Sell same type” option is meant to make offloading goods easier by taking price trends into account, so players don’t have to keep checking values manually. There are also new hotkey tooltips on the world map when pressing Ctrl, along with more convenient world map hotkey settings.

Pearl Abyss is also still running Black Desert’s 10th anniversary events, including 10th Anniversary Hot Time and Part 2 of the Collect Anniversary Seal: Pearl of a Decade event. More detailed breakdowns for the War of the Roses rule changes, map adjustments, and reward updates are in the patch notes.
