Black Desert sets Heidel Ball for July 25 in Southern California
Pearl Abyss has locked in this year’s Black Desert Heidel Ball for Saturday, July 25, with the fan event heading to Southern California. As usual, Heidel Ball is where the studio lays out the MMORPG’s next big updates, and the early tease points to a new class and the second part of the Edania update.
Players on both PC and console can now apply for a chance to attend in person. According to the official PC event page, applications are open through April 30, and selected attendees will be contacted on May 7.
The event itself is also set to include more than just update announcements. Pearl Abyss says Heidel Ball will feature an esports event, a cosplay contest, raffles, and food and drinks for people attending on site.
The first public details came via the game’s announcement on X, which also hinted at what may be a pistol-using class reveal. That part hasn’t been fully detailed yet, so for now it’s just a tease ahead of the full presentation.
For anyone not making the trip, Heidel Ball is still the main date to watch if you’re waiting on what’s next for Black Desert on PC or console.
