Black Desert Console has kicked off its Halloween event, with Marni’s Spooky Playground returning from Oct. 15 after maintenance until Nov. 12 before maintenance. This year’s version centers on collecting Seals of Purification, taking on playground quests, and dealing with the new world boss Innocence Mk XII.

Players can earn Seals of Purification through monster hunting, gathering, and fishing across a wide range of regions, including the new Inner Edania zones. There’s also a daily playtime reward of 20 seals for logging 60 minutes from Oct. 16 through Nov. 11, plus extra seals from event quests and weekly objectives.

  • Seals can be exchanged for items including a Thankful Premium Outfit Box, Mythical Censer, and Advice of Valks (+250) Box.
  • The Marni’s Spooky Playground questline starts through the Black Spirit and sends players to Wacky Toshi near the Beacon Entrance.
  • Purified Devil’s Boxes can include Cron Stones, Advice of Valks boxes, the Marnimoth pet, and enhancement-related items.
  • Two weekly playground minigames are available, including a Red Light, Green Light-style challenge using Oog Mk III.
  • A Daemon-themed quest chain can reward the new Silence of the Good helmet outfit.
  • A special Ghost Pumpkin monster can appear during combat, with guaranteed materials and a chance at a 1,000 Cron Stone bundle.

The Halloween login challenge also runs from Oct. 15 through Oct. 28 at 23:59 UTC, with rewards claimable until the Nov. 12 maintenance. The 14-day track includes Cron Stones, Gula’s Courser Training Selection Boxes, Mount Skill Change Coupons, perfumes, Harmony Draughts, Magical Shards, enhancement items, a 7-day Blessing of Cron Stones, a 7-day Sealed Ancient Book of Combat, and an Ultimate Premium Enhancement Box on the final day.

Black Desert on PC is running its own Marni’s Playground Halloween event as well, with this week’s update adding a boss fight with rewards including a creepy mask, plus a Halloween fashion show scheduled for Oct. 16.
