Azur Lane’s 8th Anniversary Event Adds Five Eagle Union Shipgirls and LA Fan Event

Azur Lane has kicked off its 8th anniversary event, “Depths of the Astrarium,” on mobile. The limited-time event runs from August 13 through August 26 at 11:59 PM UTC-7, bringing five new Eagle Union shipgirls, anniversary login rewards, new skins, and a Belfast retrofit item tied to a mini-game.

The new roster includes Super Rare shipgirls Bennington, Vicksburg, and Collett, plus Elite shipgirls Harrison and John Rodgers. Bennington, Vicksburg, and Harrison are available through Limited Construction with rate-up. Collett can be obtained through the event shop, stage drops, or Limited Construction without rate-up, while John Rodgers is unlocked through PT milestone rewards earned by clearing event stages.

Players also get a Special Login event for the anniversary. Logging in for seven days lets players choose one of eight returning shipgirls, and the broader anniversary rewards include 900 Gems, one Promise Ring, and assorted resources. The “Sealane Protector” mini-game is also part of the event, with Retrofit Items needed to upgrade Belfast to her Ultra Rare Retrofit form.

The update adds several new skins, including dynamic skins for Vicksburg, Fritz Rumey, and Essex. Collett, Harrison, and John Rodgers also get new outfits. Three L2D+ skins are being added for Bennington, Indomitable, and Musashi, while older skins are returning for a limited time, including L2D+ skins for Bois Belleau and Anchorage.

Outside the game, Yostar is holding the “8th Anniversary Azur Lane Fes” at Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles from August 15 to August 16. Reservations are open now, with the event set to include cosplayers, merchandise, giveaways, and themed drinks.
