ArenaNet is joining Guild Wars 2’s World Boss Rush on stream today
ArenaNet is taking part in Guild Wars 2’s current World Boss Rush event today, March 20, with a developer livestream set for 3:00 p.m. EDT. According to the announcement, the team will be jumping into the fight against Tyria’s world bosses alongside players.
The World Boss Rush event is already running this week, and this stream looks like a simple community-facing addition rather than a separate in-game update. There doesn’t seem to be any extra reward tied to the dev appearance, at least based on what’s been shared so far.
So, if you’re already doing the event, you may run into ArenaNet staff in the crowd while the stream is live. If not, it’s at least a different kind of weekend broadcast from the studio, with the devs taking on the same oversized targets players have been farming during the event.
Guild Wars 2 regularly cycles in bonus events like World Boss Rush, which pushes players back toward large-scale open-world encounters across Tyria. This one is still active through the week, and today’s stream is basically a chance to watch the developers join the pile-in themselves.
