AION 2 Opens More EU and NA East Servers After Launch Week

Posted on by

AION 2’s first week after global launch has brought a few practical changes for players, including new servers in Europe and NA East, compensation for a European outage, and a small but useful buff to quest-earned wings.

NC opened two new European servers on October 8: Nathara for Elyos and Tassin for Asmodian. NA East followed on October 9 with Hithanya for Elyos and Nemon for Asmodian. The studio is pushing new characters toward the newest servers for now, while dungeons remain cross-server.

  • Server transfers for Early Access servers are planned to open October 14.
  • Server transfers for launch servers are planned to open October 21.
  • A cloud outage on October 8 affected 21 European servers and was resolved the same day.
  • Players on affected EU servers are getting compensation, including one day of Membership if active, one day of pet auto-loot if active, and a Special Daeva Supply chest by mail.
  • The compensation chest includes Life Crystals, Resurrection Spiritstones, Battle Enhance Scrolls, Content Usage Ticket Selection Chests, and Odyle Energy. It has to be claimed within seven days.

The short maintenance tied to that outage also increased Flight Power on the four wing pairs earned through quests. Daeva’s Lesser Wings went from 2,000 to 2,500 Flight Power, while Intermediate, Superior, and Ultimate Wings each went from 500 to 1,000. Altogether, that’s another 2,000 Flight Power across the set.

NC also adjusted Founder’s Pack handling in an earlier October 6 update. Founder’s Pack skins, titles, and other pack items are now usable on every character across every server, and owners can claim missing tier items through a free dedicated Founder’s Pack shop until NC closes it.

That patch also capped Sealed Wings to Enhance Stones through Substance Morph at 20 times per server per week, increased Raw Leather drops in Chaotic Lower Reshanta, Verteron, and Altgard, and added Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1) to Wind Breeze Merchants for 25,000 Kinah each. Those stones are limited to 10 per server per week through the December 15 maintenance.
