AION 2 Founders Packs Now Include 30 Days of Membership

NC is adding 30 days of Membership access to all AION 2 Founders Packs after player feedback, Merv Lee Kwai announced during a community livestream. The change also applies retroactively, so players who already bought a pack will get the added membership time too. The game’s steam page is live as well.

The sticking point was that AION 2’s Founders Packs previously included a five-day head start, starting September 30, but not access to the game’s separate Membership tier. That mattered because Membership is tied to major MMO features, including player trading. With the change, Founders Pack buyers will at least be able to try the game with those systems available before deciding whether to keep paying for the subscription.

NC also shared a few other launch details during the stream. Sanctuaries will support parties of up to 10 players, up from the previously planned eight. The global launch will have five server regions: US West, US East, Central Europe, South America, and Japan.

The studio also confirmed that the cosmetics included in the Founders Packs will be exclusive to those packs for the global version. That differs from the Korean version, where those cosmetics are available through the in-game shop.
