Rohan 2
Rohan 2: Legacy of Steel was planned as a 3D fantasy MMORPG with a clear priority, competitive PvP. Designed as a follow-up to the Korean MMO Rohan: Blood Feud, it aimed to keep the original’s faction conflict and player-driven battles while modernizing the presentation and experimenting with new PvP formats.

Rohan 2 Overview
Rohan 2: Legacy of Steel was introduced as the next entry after Rohan: Blood Feud, with its first major reveal dating back to 2012. Later, an alpha was announced for Taiwan in summer 2015. From what was shared, the goal was not to reinvent the series, but to tighten up what Rohan was known for, a harsher PvP environment, guild conflict, and competitive systems, while updating the visuals and interface to feel more current.
Even with limited official information, one standout idea repeatedly associated with Rohan 2 was a faster PvP mode that leaned into MOBA pacing and RTS-style decision-making. The concept suggested teams coordinating pushes and skirmishes while also directing multiple units, adding a layer of tactical control beyond typical one-character MMO combat. If implemented well, this kind of mode could have offered a strong alternative to standard battleground loops and made organized play more appealing.
Rohan 2 Key Features:
- Recognizable franchise roots – draws on the Rohan: Blood Feud universe, but shifts to a fresh scenario with different characters and a new backdrop.
- Distinct PvP format – promises a quick, competitive mode that mixes MOBA-style fighting with strategic, RTS-like elements.
- Visual and UI modernization – positioned as a noticeable upgrade in graphics, interface, and overall features compared to Rohan: Blood Feud (released in 2008).
- Combat built around PvP – continues the series emphasis on player conflict, including structured battleground play and open-world fighting.

Rohan 2 Additional Information
Korean Title: 로한: 강철의 문장
Developer: Playwith (formerly known as YNK)
Release Dates:
Taiwan: Summer 2015 (alpha)
Development History / Background:
Rohan 2: Legacy of Steel first surfaced publicly during G-Star 2012, but updates were infrequent for a while afterward, with more concrete mentions resurfacing in 2015. The project came from Playwith, the same company associated with Rohan Online, and a studio that previously operated under the name YNK. Playwith is also known for SEAL Online, another long-running MMORPG.
One noteworthy publishing decision was the plan to start in Taiwan, despite the developer being based in South Korea, with the alpha window set for summer 2015. Around the same period, Playwith also worked with the Korean mobile studio Funigloo on mobile titles tied to the SEAL Online and Rohan brands, signaling broader interest in extending their IP beyond traditional PC MMORPG releases.
