Art of Conquest Overview
Art of Conquest is a free-to-play 3D strategy MMO for iOS and Android built around building an army, improving a home base, and pushing across an overworld map for resources and territory. Early on, you pick one of three starter heroes, then steadily expand into a much larger hero pool where each character brings their own abilities, equipment options, stats, and visual style. That hero variety is the core of the game’s long-term planning, because your best results come from pairing hero kits with the right troop types rather than simply stacking raw power.
Battles play out with a limited deployment grid, you place troops and heroes into available slots, then the armies surge forward once the fight begins. The action largely resolves automatically, but hero skills give you meaningful decisions mid-battle. Timed abilities like Blizzard or Heal can swing engagements, especially when you use them to disrupt enemy clumps, stabilize a frontline, or punish a poorly positioned backline. It lands in a middle ground between hands-off auto-combat and fully manual tactics.
Away from the battlefield, your stronghold is the engine that supports everything else. Upgrading it increases production and unlocks more ways to grow your forces, and the game also lets you switch your stronghold to a different race to change your overall approach. Races come with distinct strengths and weaknesses, including Human, Lich, Dwarf, and Sylvani, giving the game a bit more strategic identity than a single-faction builder. On top of that, there are multiple PvE activities alongside real-time PvP, so you can alternate between progression and competitive play depending on what you feel like doing.
