Wuthering Waves 3.2 arrives March 18 with new story chapters and tougher endgame challenges

Wuthering Waves is getting Update 3.2 on March 18, and the big additions are a new chunk of main story content, another playable character, and fresh endgame challenge cycles for high-level players.

The patch adds the next act of Chapter 3 along with a follow-up after-story quest. It also brings in Sigrika, a new character shown during the latest presentation. She was highlighted as a fighter with a capoeira-inspired style and summons blob-like creatures in combat.

For players already deep into the endgame, 3.2 will also introduce new Endstate Matrix challenge cycles. The first of those, Doomsday Matrix, is set to run from update 3.2 through 3.4. Kuro Games says more details on that mode are still to come, but it’s being positioned as a tougher set of stages aimed at veteran players.

Outside the headline additions, the update includes a handful of system changes. Kuro previewed adjustments to resonator rewards, echo management improvements, a new Tactical Hologram challenge, and performance upgrades for PC and higher-end mobile devices.

That’s the main shape of 3.2: more story, a new character banner, and another push on difficult repeatable content. If you’re mostly here for progression and optimization, the quality-of-life changes may end up being just as useful as the new quests.
