WoW: Midnight early access hits queues, disables Endeavor XP after housing exploit
World of Warcraft: Midnight is now in early access, and the rollout has been a little bumpy. Players saw high queue numbers and login issues at launch, and Blizzard has already stepped in to shut down an exploit tied to the expansion’s housing Endeavor system.
Blizzard says Endeavor XP has been temporarily disabled in Midnight early access. On top of that, scaling for older zones when doing Endeavor activities is turned off for the entire first month, with scaling set to return alongside an Endeavor that begins in early April.
Blizzard also clarified what early access does and doesn’t include. According to the official post, several features won’t unlock until the global rollout on March 3, including the Haranir allied race, profession weekly quests, Arcantina visitor quests, hard difficulty for the new Prey system, and Mythic 0 dungeons.
If you’re trying to plan around what’s live right now versus what’s coming with the full launch, Blizzard’s breakdown is the cleanest reference. The broader expansion changes are also covered in the content update notes.
