Wizard101 adds Hidden Temple Gauntlet, a co-op dungeon with Nickelodeon throwbacks

Wizard101 has added a new dungeon called the Hidden Temple Gauntlet, and it leans hard on Legends of the Hidden Temple references. The gauntlet can be played with up to four friends, and only one player in the group needs to own it for everyone to join.

The dungeon includes enemy names pulled straight from the old Nickelodeon game show, including the Purple Parrots, Blue Barracudas, Green Monkeys, and Silver Snakes. Players are also hunting for the Grand U’Bah as they work through the temple’s hazards.

That setup makes this more of a themed side activity than a major expansion, but it’s a pretty specific crossover point for anyone who remembers ’90s TV. Wizard101 has done premium gauntlets like this before, with self-contained challenge spaces that groups can run together.
