Where Winds Meet sets April 30 for the final Hexi expansion chapter

Where Winds Meet is wrapping up its Hexi expansion on Thursday, April 30, when the final chapter, Qinchuan, goes live. The expansion had already been split into three parts, but this is the first time the last release date has been pinned down.

Qinchuan adds a new grasslands region and pushes the Hexi storyline to its conclusion. According to the announcement, the update also includes three new side stories, a map with shifting seasons, and three new strongholds, including Sunken City Lake.

There are a few gameplay additions coming with it too. Players can expect a new mystic traversal skill for getting around Qinchuan, a new boss fight called Snowplum Requiem, and a new PvP mode tied to the start of Season 3.

Where Winds Meet is the wuxia open-world action RPG from Everstone Studio. If you’ve been following the Hexi rollout, this is the last piece of that arc rather than a brand-new expansion on top of it.

The reveal came alongside a new trailer for the Qinchuan update, but the main takeaway is simple: the Hexi finale arrives April 30.
