Warframe’s One-Time Operation: Taubound Starts October 15

Warframe is getting a limited operation on October 15 called Operation: Taubound, setting up the game’s planned trip to Tau in December. Unlike many past operations, this one isn’t coming back, so players who want its story beats and rewards will need to take part while it’s live.

The operation has players working with the Sentient flagship Praghasa to help open the gate to Tau. It also includes a new Tau Prologue quest tied to the Vessel currently sitting in players’ dry docks.

During the event, players will harvest Moonflesh and turn it in to Praghasa for rewards. The listed rewards include a Legendary Core, a new syandana, new armor, and a new amp skin.

There will also be new lore from Praghasa to uncover during the operation. The key catch is permanence: Digital Extremes is presenting Operation: Taubound as a one-time event, so anyone interested in seeing it firsthand should make time after it begins on October 15.
