Warframe’s Iceblade of Narin Update Is Live With New Warframe, Free Banshee Login Reward

Warframe’s Iceblade of Narin update is now live on all platforms, adding the new sword-dancing Warframe Narin, a new area aboard the Zariman, Entropic Eximus enemies, Riven system changes, and a Banshee rework.

Digital Extremes is also giving players a free base Banshee Warframe for logging in between September 23 and October 7. The giveaway includes a built Forma, so players can try her updated sound-based kit without needing to farm or buy her first.

Narin is the main addition here. She fights with an ice rapier, builds up Ice through her abilities, and uses it to trigger her ultimate, Nurinarim, which sends her into a sword dance that deals nearby damage and launches icy slashes at marked targets. Her kit also leans into Cold status, shield recovery, Overguard, armor and shield stripping, and temporary Cold damage for primary and secondary weapons through her passive.

The update also opens Yuvan Peak, a new social Relay on Earth tied to Narin’s story and weapon. On the Zariman Ten Zero, players can access Melica’s Lab and face Entropic Eximus enemies, which can drop Entropic Kuva used to trade with Cephalon Melica for rewards, including Narin blueprints.

Not everything in Iceblade of Narin is arriving on day one. Glacial Defiance, a new mode for up to six Tenno, is planned for the weeks after the main update. Riven Splicers, which let players combine two Riven traits into a new one from a special pool, are also coming alongside that mode.

Looking a little further out, Epoch Operation: Taubound is scheduled to begin on October 15. Players will need to have completed The Hex and The Old Peace to fully participate.

Iceblade of Narin also includes Citrine Prime Access, new TennoGen cosmetics, and new Atragraph mod support for Banshee’s Savage Silence and Baruuk’s Reactive Storm.
