VALORANT Patch 13.09 Adds Hush, Buffs the Warden, and Tweaks Clove
VALORANT Patch 13.09 is live, headlined by Hush, a new Agent from Guangdong province who uses telekinetic utility to pull, flash, reposition, and suspend enemies. Riot has also updated ability tooltips across the roster, adjusted Clove, and given the Warden a small but notable accuracy buff.
Hush’s kit is built around redirecting utility midair. Her passive, Telekinesis, lets her pick up weapons, grab the Spike on attack, and interact with switches from farther away. Her basic abilities include Displacement, which pulls players toward its center and can concuss them if they hit a surface or another player, and Flashbulb, a steerable flash that detonates on impact or after a delay. Flow creates an anchor Hush can launch toward, while her ultimate, Suspension, sends out a steerable projectile that levitates players when detonated.
- Clove’s Pick-me-up movement speed bonus has been reduced from 15% to 10%.
- Killing Clove after they cast Not Dead Yet now grants the killer an ultimate point and a signature refresh point.
- The Warden has smoother early recoil and less follow-up spread, with second bullet error reduced from .25 to .2 and third bullet error from .6 to .5.
- Ability descriptions have been cleaned up, and more Agents now have passive descriptions shown in-game.
- New terminology has been added for Haste, meaning movement speed buffs, and Snapshot, meaning still-image silhouette reveals.
- Players in Korea can now buy Radianite Points in-game.
On the competitive side, Riot says Hush’s Performance Score may be uneven for the first few days since she’s the first new Agent added after that system launched. End-of-game screens now show more Performance Score info, Act Best Match has a bigger impact on Map Rating, and the First Blood Accolade is harder to earn.
The patch also includes bug fixes for several Agents, including Clove, Cypher, Deadlock, Gekko, Omen, Raze, Sova, Tejo, and Yoru.
