Throne and Liberty details the Tower of Greed co-op PvE mode, due January 29

Throne and Liberty is adding a new co-op PvE activity called the Tower of Greed, and it’s currently set to arrive on January 29. The mode is built around climbing a tower with shifting, randomized floors that mix combat with objectives like puzzles and quests.

According to the official post, Tower of Greed supports parties of up to six players, with difficulty scaling based on how many people you bring. There’s also a minimum Combat Power requirement of 2,500 to enter. The developers say it should still be manageable for smaller groups like solo players or duos, even though it’s framed as co-op content.

Progress is designed to be flexible: you can save your run and come back later, and you’re able to swap party members at checkpoints after clearing a floor. That should make it easier to fit into shorter sessions, or to keep going even if your original group can’t finish the full climb in one sitting.

The teaser points to a 50-floor climb, with different room types and mechanics as you move upward. Along the way, the tower also ties into the game’s lore, with hints that it will reveal more about Calanthia and why the tower exists in the first place.

With the release date locked in for January 29, it sounds like we’ll see more specifics on rewards and how the tower’s floor variety works before it goes live.
