The First Descendant update adds a mission board, Sharen rework, and a new Axion operation

Nexon has outlined the next The First Descendant update, which goes live tomorrow. The patch is centered on smaller additions and balance work, including a new Descendant Mission Board, a fresh infiltration operation for Axion, a Sharen rework, and a new Ultimate weapon.

According to the patch announcement, the new Mission Board pulls daily and weekly event missions into one place so players can pick them up, track progress, and collect rewards from a single hub. Axion Infiltration is also getting a Support matchmaking option that sends you into a random mission. Completing those matchmade runs can earn up to 20 Ancestors Modules per week.

Sharen is getting the biggest character-side change in this update. Nexon says the goal is to sharpen her assassin role and make her more usable in the current meta, with mobility improvements, base skill changes, and updates to her Skill Modules. Some of those adjustments are more than simple number tweaks, so Sharen players will probably want to read through the full notes before jumping back in.

Keelan is also getting two new Skill Modules. Fierce Attack changes how he deals damage when charging into groups, while Septic Torrent lets him rush a target on activation and hit nearby enemies at the same time.

On the PvE side, Axion is adding the Legion Laboratory Infiltration Operation. The mission moves through indoor and outdoor sections before ending in a boss fight against The Sculptor. Its reward pool includes Keelan’s new modules, the new Ultimate weapon Crime and Punishment, and other Ultimate-tier modules.

Crime and Punishment is a dual-blade weapon that builds combo stages through normal attacks, then generates execution bullets that power up your next normal hit.

The patch also includes events, a discount coupon, weapon balance changes, new defense modules, and other smaller additions.
