Star Trek Online’s First Contact Day event returns with a free T6 Noble Intel Battlecruiser

Star Trek Online is bringing back its First Contact Day event from April 7 to May 7 on PC and consoles, and the main reward this year is a free T6 version of the Noble Intel Battlecruiser. According to the official post, players can earn daily progress by running event activities during that month-long window.

The event includes a few familiar Star Trek-themed activities: building and launching a Phoenix rocket, heading back in time to stop the Borg from disrupting first contact, recreating the Synth attack on Mars, and playing the Battle of Wolf 359 TFO. You can earn progress once per day per account through those activities.

It takes 20 days of progress to unlock the ship, so anyone who wants it will need to check in pretty regularly before the event ends on May 7. Alongside the cruiser, the event also offers a handful of smaller rewards, including an account-wide badge box, a Phoenix rocket toy, and a holo-emitter that changes shuttle visuals into the Phoenix.

For longtime STO players, the Noble has some history. The post describes it as a new T6 version of one of the game’s earliest ships, which gives this event a bit more weight than the usual cosmetic giveaway. If you’ve been meaning to log back in, this is a straightforward reason to do it.
