Star Trek Online: Undiscovered Brings Voyager Characters Back on July 7

Star Trek Online’s next major update, Undiscovered, launches on PC on July 7, 2026. The update brings back Robert Picardo as The Doctor and Lisa Locicero as Lieutenant Miral Paris, the daughter of Tom Paris and B’Elanna Torres from Star Trek: Voyager.

According to the official post, Undiscovered revisits “The Ultimate Klingon,” an older Star Trek Online storyline from the Federation and Klingon early-game arcs. Cryptic has rebuilt it with updated visuals, new cutscenes, and revised story beats.

The story returns players to the Klingon War era, where the Federation is trying to push a ceasefire through the Klingon High Council. Players will work with Miral Paris and The Doctor as they try to build support for President Okeg’s peace proposal, while Miral’s connection to the Klingon Kuvah’magh prophecy complicates things.

Undiscovered also adds a limited-time event with the K’vort Temporal Flight Deck Raptor as the reward ship. The K’vort has appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Lower Decks, and the in-game version can be customized into both of its classic looks.

Cryptic is also overhauling Deep Space Encounters. The returning feature sends players into varied missions across the Alpha, Beta, and Delta Quadrants, with randomized enemies, objectives, and environments. These encounters will count toward the Undiscovered event as well, giving players bonus Endeavor XP and Daily Event Progress toward the K’vort.
