Star Trek Online Teases “Future” Reveal for September 8

Cryptic Studios is teasing a new look at “the future of Star Trek Online” for Tuesday, September 8, though the studio hasn’t shared a time, stream link, or format yet.

The short teaser video uses the Guardian of Forever, which is very on-brand for a Star Trek reveal that may involve time travel, alternate timelines, or just a dramatic way to set up the announcement. For now, that’s all Cryptic is saying.

There are a few things happening in-game before then. Admiralty Bonus Week and an R&D / duty officer boost event are both running through September 1.

After that, the Flagship Celebration begins on September 1 and runs for three weeks. Players will be able to make progress toward a pack tied to Star Trek’s 60th anniversary.
