Scramble Knights Online Enters Steam Early Access With Co-Op Quests and PvP

Funktronic Labs’ Scramble Knights Online launched into Steam Early Access on October 26, 2026, at 10 AM PST. The studio describes it as an “MMO-lite,” with players teaming up as knights-in-training to run quests, clear dungeons, and fight bosses in the world of Terracott.

The Early Access version includes the full set of 1-star quests, opt-in faction PvP, and roughly five hours of PvE content. Funktronic says the first stretch after launch will focus on server stability, bug fixes, and balance changes, which tracks with its launch-day note that the servers were “a bit scrambled.”

The first major content update is planned for December. Called Island Odyssey, it will add 2-star quests, new bosses, new equipment, and more, though the exact release date hasn’t been announced yet. 3-star quests are currently planned for Q1 2027.

Scramble Knights Online costs $12.99, with regional pricing. It’s a one-time purchase, and the studio says there are no microtransactions, no pay-to-win items, and no paid progression. Funktronic may consider a founder’s pack or paid cosmetic DLC later, but says it has no current plans for in-game purchases.

Squads support up to four players, and the developer says all versions support cross-play. Anyone who played the demo can carry progress into the full game.
