RuneScape’s Grand Exchange Is Getting Faster Price Updates This Week
RuneScape’s Grand Exchange changes are due this week as part of Jagex’s ongoing Road to Restoration work, with the main focus on making item prices easier to read and a bit closer to what’s actually happening in the market.
According to Jagex’s official post, market prices will be recalculated more often, and the Grand Exchange will also show an average trade value based on the last 10 trades for an item. The idea is simple: give players a better snapshot of what something is selling for right now, rather than leaving them to guess from stale pricing.
Search is getting some cleanup too. The Grand Exchange will support more common acronyms and prefixes, plus basic keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl + V. Jagex gave examples such as “soil” for Archaeology soil types and “Phat” for party hats, with more terms expected to be added after players get their hands on the system.
The update will also share Grand Exchange data with the RuneScape Wiki, which should help keep trade and pricing information more current outside the game. In-game, players will be able to see how much of their buy limit they’ve used. Ironman accounts will also have unavailable store items hidden, cutting down on irrelevant listings.
Jagex says more details will be available when the update goes live.
