Runes of Magic brings back its spring event from April 1 to 16

Runes of Magic’s spring event is back, with this year’s run scheduled for April 1 through April 16. The event includes the usual set of temporary bonuses across the MMORPG, including boosted XP, TP, and item drop rates, plus daily login rewards and rotating buffs tied to specific instances.

According to the official post, players can also earn event currency during the event and trade it for a small batch of utility and convenience items. That includes Phirius shell bundles, watermelon seeds that grant buffs, a portable mailbox, and a home teleport item.

The main thing to keep in mind is that some of the bonuses aren’t active for the full two weeks. A few buffs and rewards are only available on certain dates, so it’s worth checking the event schedule before jumping in.

For anyone who hasn’t kept up with the game lately, Runes of Magic is the long-running free-to-play fantasy MMO from Runewaker and Gameforge. Seasonal events like this tend to focus on account progression and consumable rewards more than new content, and this one looks much the same.
