RIFT turns 15 with Carnival of the Ascended, free Patron time, and a short run of boosts

RIFT just hit its 15th anniversary, and Gamigo is marking it with the return of the Carnival of the Ascended event. The celebration is live now and runs through March 19, bringing back limited-time quests that award tokens you can trade in for event rewards, according to the official post.

There’s also a small freebie for anyone still checking in. If you redeem the voucher code RIFTBDAY2026 in your Glyph account by March 4, you’ll get three free days of Patron subscription time.

On top of that, Gamigo says there are boosts running from now until March 8, plus a player dimension (housing) contest happening as part of the anniversary stretch.

And yes, there’s more on the way. The studio also teased “tomorrow’s update,” though the post doesn’t spell out what’s included beyond that heads-up.

RIFT originally launched in March 2011, and it’s still ticking along under Gamigo after Trion Worlds shut down in 2018.
