RF Online Next September Update Adds Core World II Boss and New Mining Site Fights

Netmarble has rolled out RF Online Next’s September update in Korea, adding Core World II: World Creator to the sci-fi MMORPG’s large-scale server-versus-server content.

The new Core World boss, World Creator, comes with rewards tied to the new Launcher Lorelei, including blueprint pieces. Players can also earn overall and server-wide first-place rewards through the mode.

The update also expands dungeon content for higher-level players. Shared Mining Site Floor 6 now has the Abyssal Grand Guardian for level 93 and up, while Exclusive Mining Site Floor 4 adds the Tyrant Grand Guardian for level 90 and up. Both bosses can drop Tier 6 Hero boss-exclusive equipment.

Guild-focused content is getting pushed further too. Guild Raids and Conquests now go up to Hell Stage 3, while the party dungeon Battlefield of Memory has been expanded to Hell Stage 2.

More cosmetic and gear additions are scheduled to arrive throughout September rather than all at once. That includes the Celestial Radiance and Wasteland Wanderer Biosuit costumes, Acorn and Singara Rover costumes, and the Launcher Lorelei.

Netmarble is also running commemorative events for the update, including a Summer Finale check-in and Rover Workshop Acquisition Support. Exact event timing is being handled through the official RF Online Next forum.

RF Online Next launched in Korea on March 20, 2025 for PC and mobile. It’s based on the long-running RF Online IP, mixing sci-fi MMORPG progression with faction conflict and large-scale PvP.
