PSO2 New Genesis Starts Second Touhou Project Collab

Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis is teaming up with Touhou Project again, with Sega launching a second collaboration centered on Touhou Youyoumu ~ Perfect Cherry Blossom. The event starts today and includes a limited-time login bonus plus new cosmetics through the AC Scratch Ticket: Touhou Project Style ’26.

The new scratch ticket adds outfits, hairstyles, accessories, weapon camo, build parts, and other items inspired by Alice Margatroid, Youmu Konpaku, Yuyuko Saigyouji, and Yukari Yakumo. There are also Yukkuri Alice and Youmu Mag Forms, along with Music Discs for tracks including “Samayoinomei ~ amatu ~,” “Phantasm Brigade,” and “Shissou Ensemble!” The scratch count bonus is the Music Disc “Marisa Stole the Precious Thing.”

Sega is also bringing back items from last year’s Touhou Project collaboration through the Revival Scratch Ticket: Touhou Project Revival. That earlier crossover was based on Touhou Koumakyou ~ The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, and this revival’s scratch count bonus is a Music Disc for “Bad Apple!! feat.nomico.”

Outside the crossover, PSO2 New Genesis is getting Main Story Chapter 9 on August 5. The chapter follows the protagonist and their allies after the Alter Realm investigation, with Lucia’s lost memories tied to the next part of the story.

Treasure Scratch is also getting a refreshed prize lineup, including new Augments such as Telphia Domina and Athos Halphinale. A Super Reward Box Event is on the way as well, with SG, Beta Reactors, and Thankful Scratch Tickets available for players who clear both the Treasure Scratch and Reward Box Event rewards.
