PSO2 New Genesis Lines Up September Quests, Login Rewards, and 15-Star Weapon Upgrades

Sega has outlined the September slate for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis, with several limited-time quests, anniversary rewards, and a new 15-star weapon upgrade path rolling out through the month.

Some of it is live now, including the Yurze Augment Select Aug ’26 scratch and the limited-time urgent quest Moonlight Harvest, where up to eight players gather crops for Retem’s Harvest Festival while fighting off enemy waves.

• Drill: Three-Way Traverse is a 12-player limited-time quest where players split into three lanes before regrouping for a boss fight. Defeating more enemies on the way lowers the boss’s HP.
• The 5! Go!! Beyond!!! anniversary event continues with another round of free 5th Anniv Thankful Revival Scratch Tickets earned through Weekly Tasks. This month’s tickets feature AC Scratch prizes from June 2023 through early September 2023.
• The Autumn Gifts Campaign gives weekly login rewards, including 30 Thankful Scratch Tickets and items such as N-Augment Transfer Pass Vouchers.
• Phantom Tower Assault: North Tundra arrives September 8. The four-player Standing Quest is a high-difficulty climb through the Phantom Tower, with weapon camo and motion changes among the rewards.
• The new 15-star Rinz weapon series can be obtained through upgrading. The upgrade boosts stats and adds a Potential that reduces PP consumption. Kinz Cubes for the upgrade drop from quests including Phantom Tower Assault: North Tundra.
• Ice Phantom Clean-Up Op starts September 16, sending up to eight players into Alter Realm: Central Tundra Area. Route options will change the following week.
• The Altered Remnant of Wisdom Laughs arrives September 22 as a solo fight against Alter Noetica, with ARKS Records support.
• Drill: Large Enemy Clean-Up Op ’26 begins September 30 in the Stia Outskirts, with up to eight players fighting Giant Mutant enemies and clearing obstacle-course sections for battle advantages.

The Big Bang Scratch Campaign is also returning during the month. Players can earn items such as Gamma Reactor, N-Augment Transfer Passes, Star Gems, and Big Bang Scratch Fever Tickets through login bonuses, limited-time tasks, and draw milestones.
