PSO2: New Genesis is raising the level cap to 115 on February 4, with new quests and mini episodes
Sega has outlined what’s coming to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis in February, and the biggest change is a level cap increase. Starting February 4, players will be able to level up to 115, alongside new content meant to help support the climb.
According to the official update page, February also brings a new set of mini episodes beginning the same day. These are short story beats focused on companion reactions following the battle with Vael, plus additional episodes touching on Nadereh and Manon’s thoughts on music found in Nameless City and what Aina’s ARKS recruits have been doing.
On the quest side, Sega is adding an exploration quest called Nameless City Entertainment Zone Investigation, set in Neon City’s newest district. The basic loop is earning exploration points, then spending them to bring “Rappy Twinkles” onto the field to increase how quickly you gain points. A new Trial, Star Rappy Twinkle Collection, is also part of that activity.
February’s schedule also includes the return of the Ultra PSO2 boost event on February 1, which Sega says offers larger boosts than a typical PSO2 Day, including rare drop rate bonuses for Premium Set users. An Ultra PSO2 Day is also slated for February 21.
Other February additions include a new Mission Pass opening February 10, and new quests arriving February 18. That includes the limited-time quest Drill: Mounting a Regional Defense (a progressive quest for up to eight players) and the return of the limited-time Urgent Quest Pale Flame of Planetwrecker.
