Project Gorgon plans another weekend patch with performance fixes and zone touch-ups

Project Gorgon is getting another weekend patch, with Elder Game aiming to push it live Saturday morning (time still TBD). Developer Eric Heimburg said the team needs to get some fixes out quickly, and players should expect the usual in-game notices starting about an hour before servers go down.

According to Heimburg in an Discord message, the patch includes graphics performance improvements, a fix for a “weird” voice chat problem, and a batch of smaller, less urgent fixes. It also refreshes a couple of outdoor areas, with Sun Vale and Ilmari being adjusted to work better as hunting grounds.

Separately, Elder Game also surfaced some subscription numbers in-game this week via what the studio described as an automated readout. As of Wednesday, the game reportedly showed 5,585 subscriptions total, including 734 from packages, which the team called a new VIP tally record.

Since Project Gorgon officially launched on Steam, the game has averaged over 3,000 concurrent players.
