Pantheon PTR Adds Rogue and Enchanter, Raises Level Cap to 20
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen’s Combat and Progression Update has moved into week five on the PTR, and this one comes with another wipe. The big additions are the Rogue and Enchanter classes, a raised level cap of 20, new level 11-20 abilities, and more areas opening up for testing.
Both new classes are playable now, though Visionary Realms says some abilities still need work. Rogue is the more affected of the two, since some of its kit depends on a system that hasn’t been added yet. The team is asking testers to focus on how both classes feel in combat, how their abilities function, and anything that seems off while leveling.
According to the official post, players can train level 11-20 abilities from new trainer NPCs in the starting area and Demith. The higher cap also means more of the world is available, including content meant for the new level range.
The patch also makes broader combat and itemization changes. Tank classes no longer receive innate threat multipliers compared with other classes, item level requirements and damage values have been adjusted, and some NPC loot tables have been updated. With higher-level areas now in testing, rarer and stronger drops are being added there as well.
Visionary Realms is also tuning NPC combat behavior, with some enemies now using more appropriate abilities. The studio’s current feedback targets, listed in the patch notes, are combat from levels 1-20, Rogue and Enchanter gameplay, and group play in the newly opened, tougher areas.
