Once Human heads to PS5 and Xbox with a closed beta starting March 26
NetEase is bringing Once Human to consoles, with a closed beta set for March 26 through April 8 PT on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S. The test will support cross-platform play between PlayStation and Xbox, though NetEase still hasn’t said when the full console release is planned.
The beta lines up with the launch of Version 2.3.26, also called the Deviant Update. That patch goes live on March 26 and adds new content built around fresh Deviants, including an audio-based mechanic tied to the Devourer, plus mimic trees and sea slugs.
If you want into the console test, NetEase has a sign-up form open now. The game’s Steam page is also live for players who want a quick look at the current PC version. The game peaks at a little over 15,000 players daily on Steam.
Once Human is a multiplayer survival game with MMO elements, and it’s already available on PC. This console beta is the clearest sign yet that NetEase is getting ready to push the game onto more platforms, even if the actual launch date is still up in the air.
