Once Human 3.0.5 Adds Storage Search, Portable Crafting, and Dye Updates

Once Human’s Version 3.0.5 update is scheduled for September 2, 2026 at 4:00 PM PT, with maintenance expected to last around two hours. The patch adds a storage search tool, portable crafting in RaidZone, expanded fashion dye options, and a round of fixes and smaller quality-of-life changes.

Players will get compensation after maintenance: 1,000 Starchrom, 100 Mitsuko’s Mark, one Stardust Secret Crate: S14 Epic, and 30 Colorful Badges. NetEase also notes in the official patch notes that recent update downloads are larger because map resources are being preloaded in stages for the upcoming Isles of Abyss scenario. The next update is currently planned for September 16 at 4:00 PM PT.

  • Storage crates and storage Terminals now have a search feature, letting players type a keyword to find stored items more quickly.
  • RaidZone now supports portable crafting for items that previously required a campsite. Players can craft them from the backpack instead, while campsites still work as temporary respawn points and cooking spots.
  • The fashion dye system has been upgraded with clearer custom-dye indicators, dye preset status, batch preset management, and a Simple Mode for full-body dyeing.
  • More fashion sets now support custom dyes, including Tradewind Ace, Winter Serenade, Ember Reaver, Combat Medic, White Reaper, Punk Puppy, Radiant Abyss, Steel Claw Raid, and several others.
  • Meta Pass activation rules have changed so Lightforge Ingot claim progress is retained after expiration and continues if the pass is reactivated.
  • Scenario server sign-up lock time has been shortened to four hours, vending machines can trade facility-type items, and wilderness parking lots have a better chance to refresh large garage facilities.

The shop is also getting the limited-time Lightforge Loot Crate: Duskfire Breaker after maintenance, with the Shadow Trace vehicle skin, Sigh of Ember fashion set, and other cosmetics. A Mirror Knight combo crate is planned for September 9 PT.

Custom server hosts get a new “Excellent” level for average daily engagement scores between 200 and 599 per month, which grants a free 30-day renewal for the current server size. The host incentive event returns from September 2 to 29 PT, and a custom server challenge event runs September 3 to 16 server time.
