New World shares a small March–May roadmap focused on QoL changes

Amazon Games has posted a short March through May roadmap for New World, and it’s mostly quality-of-life stuff rather than new content. The list was shared via the game’s Discord, with changes expected to land during the usual monthly maintenance windows.

According to the Discord post, March’s patch is set to tackle a handful of long-requested fixes and account tweaks. That includes repairing Steam achievements, unlocking all transmog items, expanding gear set slots to 30, raising the AFK timer to 24 hours, and enabling region transfers.

April is aimed at easing up on a few grinds and limits. Amazon says it’ll increase caps for umbrals and gold, plus raise the daily gypsum farming cap.

May’s changes lean into endgame rotation and repeatable runs: the mutation limit is planned to jump to 100 per week, mutations would rotate daily, and the soul trial rotation timer is expected to drop to six hours.

The studio also notes this isn’t a full rundown of bug fixes, since those are being handled separately case by case. For players still logging in regularly, though, this at least sketches out what’s changing over the next few months.
