Naraka: Bladepoint Adds Free The King’s Avatar Hero Ye Xiu on July 30
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is adding Ye Xiu as a free playable hero on July 30, tying into the game’s fifth-anniversary collaboration with The King’s Avatar. NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment say all players can claim him through the in-game mailbox once the update is live.
Ye Xiu isn’t being treated as a simple crossover skin. His kit is built around quick movement, counterattacks, and combo flexibility, with options for both area damage and single-target pressure. In short, he’s designed as a versatile fighter rather than a niche pick.
The update also introduces the Kaleidoscope Parasol, described as NARAKA’s first weapon that can shift between forms during combat. Players can swap between Parasol, Shield, and Axe forms, giving the weapon a mix of mobility, defense, and close-range offense depending on the situation.
Players can also earn a premium skin for the Kaleidoscope Parasol for free through a limited-time event. The source doesn’t list the event’s end date, so anyone interested should check in after the update lands.
The crossover brings in the protagonist of The King’s Avatar, an esports-focused anime and novel series, as NARAKA: BLADEPOINT continues marking its fifth anniversary. The free hero claim starts July 30.
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT hit 108,670 concurrent players today on Steam.
