Monsters & Memories Enters Early Access With Subscription Launch Underway

Monsters & Memories is now in Early Access, opening its servers at 09:00 Bahrain time on October 1, 2026, which was 02:00 Eastern and 23:00 Pacific on September 30. The old-school indie MMORPG has also crossed a notable pre-launch mark, with Massively Overpowered reporting more than 12,000 advance subscriptions by launch day.

This isn’t a paid head start. Early Access is the game’s commercial subscription launch, priced at $15 per month per account. Characters made during Early Access won’t be wiped, though the team says players who wait for later milestones will be able to start on fresh servers.

  • Players can create up to 25 characters per server, increased from 5 during the September 21 to 30 billing soft open.
  • Launch content covers a level 1 to 60 path across roughly 28 zones.
  • Module 1: Descent into the Deep is live at Early Access launch instead of arriving later.
  • Four starting cities are available: Night Harbor, The Underdocks, Faelindral, and Ail’vorith.
  • Playable races include Deep Elves, Deep Gnomes, Dwarves, Gnomes, Goblins, Halflings, Humans, Ogres, and Wood Elves. All classes are available.

The launch server list includes Estaire for US West PvE no-boxing, Trem and Tilustra for US East PvE no-boxing, Kravvin for US PvP no-boxing, Nunavoth for US PvE 3-box, and Vespyra for EU PvE no-boxing. The team says it’ll watch populations before deciding whether to add or consolidate servers.

Closed Beta wrapped on September 24, so this is the first big live test with paying players in the door. Early community chatter has included the usual launch-day mix of tips, connection problems, and generally positive first impressions.
